King and I Trust weekly, Oct 5 to Oct 12.
An operations week, not a feature week. The headline: a nightly database backup failed silently for ten straight nights. The Postgres container was renamed knolyz to nyvolz on Sep 23, and the backup script kept naming the old container. Nothing watched for a failed timer, so nothing said a word. Fixed and proven by execution: dump 2,204,456 bytes, gzip integrity OK, restore into a scratch database returned 89 of 89 tables, users 10, courses 16, enrollments 18, funnels 30. The 02:00 run has since passed on its own schedule.
Four more nyvolz faults closed in the same pass. OpenShorts was returning 403 to every creator, an upstream Vite host allowlist, fixed at nginx, now 200 with real application HTML. The live domain was running off a catch-all block instead of a named server block. A deploy knocked the API down ten minutes on an env-file order mistake. A live env capture sat one command from being committed. All four verified.
Knolyz: claim-by-claim audit of what is actually deployed on sr3. 37 claims, 35 implemented, 1 partial, 1 not wired. The code-task grader is dead; the backend has no docker socket, so 24 live code tasks have never graded a submission.
Trovlr shipped daily: 24 commits of deals and articles, Oct 5 through Oct 12.
Honest state: scorecard 40 of 100, capped. Delete-to-bin restore is unproven. Three secrets still need rotating. Trading flat, one lane down 99 dollars.
